Folsom you have to remember the emoji when you are being sarcastic, or micro and i will not understand !Ron doesn't think. He just acts. That seems clear after 7~ years....

Intelligibility is strongly related to RT60 - in a dry sounding enthronement (RT close to .3 or .2s) you will understand vocal much easier, but envelopment will be low.
Yes, the famous Cantate Domino is often referred as an example of this.
I will engage J.R. Boisclair to install the Graham Phantom Elite on the Balance, and the ZYX on the Phantom Elite.
Part of the fun of vinyl
Scott, Did Ron indicate that he experienced distress from this failed transaction? And on what do you base your confidence that he will find a turntable that will provide as much or more joy? How would you describe the practical every day use of the American sound turntable? What do you mean by increased musical insight and understanding? Have you heard the American Sound AS 2000?
Tima explain your view , I’m sure I’m missing something as I agree with Ron lol.
Peter, geez. And you sometimes criticize me for asking interrogating questions "like a lawyer"?
How can it not be obvious that Scott simply was articulating hopefully for me that I will be happy with whatever turntable I choose in the future? He simply was conveying kind wishes for my future decision and eventual vinyl happiness.
He was not attacking the AS-2000.
You are a lawyer and were a debater. Our exchanges reflect that.
Peter seems to be getting pretty wound up in these discussions lately...Peter, How can it not be obvious that Scott simply was articulating hopefully for me that I will be happy with whatever turntable I choose in the future? I went to law school.
What do our exchanges have to do with Scott's post? Your post responded directly to Scott's post, not to anything I wrote.
Regarding the subject, do you think my questions are unreasonable given the inferences in Scott’s post?
Peter has made considerable investments, both monetarily and personal direction, to the AS-2000. it's reasonable for him to be paying very close attention to AS-2000 related issues. i can relate to how i view things. we all get invested. we are not neutral.Peter seems to be getting pretty wound up in these discussions lately...

Peter bought a turntable…so what? If he enjoys it and thinks it’s the best then why should he care what anyone else does or says regarding this brand of TT? Only if you are concerned about resell value perhaps?Peter has made considerable investments, both monetarily and personal direction, to the AS-2000. it's reasonable for him to be paying very close attention to AS-2000 related issues. i can relate to how i view things. we all get invested. we are not neutral.
And I thought Pretzel Logic was just a Steely Dan album…Ron and I spoke extensively about the turntable before and after his visit to Utah last winter. He asked many questions and was extremely excited talking about the incredible build quality and sonics.
Ron starts to set up his system and post videos. People start asking when the new turntable will arrive and Ron says nothing for months and then suddenly announces that he is not getting the turntable he bought four years ago and thinks is incredible.
Scott then posts in response to Ron‘s announcement that he is sorry for the distress the transaction caused and that he had confidence that Ron would find another turntable that gives him even more joy and he implies something about daily use of the table.
Yes, that post raised for me some questions given all the conversations I had with Ron prior to his change of course.
it's a hobby, we all have our passions. we are not cold and objective. this is not science.Peter bought a turntable…so what?
