I don't get it - why are Infinity IRS and I being mentioned in a Wilson thread??


Because the closest thing in size, scale and innovation to the IRS I think are the Genesis 1.2 speakers. Hence my comparison. Nothing more....

To finish my thought Dave Wilson certainly can design a speaker that measures flat. If he can't he certainly can hire someone who can. In one of his videos he says flat is a starting point.
There are at least two approaches to speaker design. Take the basics and execute them to perfection. Or execute cutting edge technology. To me it appears Wilson puts an emphasis the former.
