My room is currently being re-assembled from a recent move, but when I did listen, the mix was roughly
Tape 5%
Vinyl 20%
Digital 50%
By far, I enjoy using my machines the most, but I have the least software in that format. Additionally, I'm typically passively listening while doing other things in the room, so for those reasons, digital is easier because it requires less 'active participation' (i.e. changing a tape or flipping a record) than does digital.
What happens to the other 25%?
Math was never my strong suit. The other 25% is talk radio (while working from home). Corrected above! What happens to the other 25%?
Tape 10
Vinyl 75
Digital 15
I wish I listened to tape much more but I am mainly a music aficionado and I do not have enough titles to warrant more time to tapes...
