Funny you should mention that. After all these years I figured I knew pretty well what the resolution ceiling of my system was, at least as far as analog goes. Playing a non-audiophile 150gm Ann Burton LP, I was shocked at how articulate the brush strokes were on both skin and brass or on the 6-eye of Mathis' Heavenly how a waltz rythm played by the string section so subtly supported the melody on one track. It's a lot to take in at first, all that unforced detail. Also a bit eerie not seeing a unipivot arm not bobbing and weaving about, well weaving a bit on off very off center presses but no bobbing.
One heck of a good side effect is that I went from 10 o'clock to 9 o'clock on my preamp without missing anything at all. The silence between tracks is also something of a revelation. Groove echo is so low it's inaudible from the listening position and my room has a noise floor that can be considered very low at less than 40dB with the HVAC off and a shade over when on. Vinyl Black? LOL. I think so!
