The all new Lampizator Poseidon preamplifier

I'm thinking of buying a Poseidon, does anyone know when the first official review will be out in the usual media outlets??

Let me ask a question - in case owner has Poseidon pre/DAC and by any chance Horizon or any Lampi DAC with VC knowing that remote control is the same as such, are those remote controls coded differently or not? Guess you catch my drift...

When I used my TRP3 into my AmberAmp3, both remote controls controlled both units.
So they are NOT coded differently.

Any of my many Lampi remote controls can and do control any of my many Lampi DACs.

So hypothetically i want to use Poseidon pre and Horizon DAC near each other (usual thing) and I increase/decrease vol, change DAC VC volume or Poseidon volume both units do the same command at the same time...
Not cool....

I taped the IR eye of the TRP to avoid that.

....I'll try to stay polite and refrain from any more comments on this topic....

Sorry, but this will happen with any other brand (within the brand) as well.

One reason I’ve thus far stuck with DACs with no volume control. Let the preamp do its thing and the DAC do its thing. When you start combining functionality, it’s tempting to go for that to save money and space, but you end up with interactions.
