Oh, actually it seems very appropriate to me. Blizzard, if he follows through on what he has been describing, and if he doesn't others will, seems just about right for this. Maybe not cultural progress, peace and freedom. But the audio equivalent of leveling the field in terms of quality, making SOTA available to more people, at lower prices, sure seems like something of progress, something of freedom and while not peace well your accusations are really out of line on this.

Oh, please... I can't have an opinion on a speaker with drivers I've heard many times before, even if ausify does try to discredit my experience, which was a low move imo... very insulting... I can have that opinion based on the fact the speaker can't provide high SPLs and won't reproduce the bottom two octaves +? Sorry, but in a $30k system I expect the speakers to be able to move a bit more air than small monitors. And that doesn't mean that ONLY low end response is important, as ausify implied in another insulting post, as if that criticism was suppose to imply that's what I think on the matter...ridiculous and insulting as well... that I don't value anything other than bass response. The truth is, those speakers are going to bottleneck a $30k system so there's no way it could even come close to competing with a system half it's cost. If you think, for $30k, that you can't have a full range system that will destroy those little monitors you're in fantasy-land.

Not by the song! It has great meaning. People were struggling to live and be free, not trying to publicize a new DAC chip...
But by it being used by an abrasive insulting individual as an attempt fool people that he is leading them to the promised land.

Dave only the higher end line uses the Accutons and Raal's. These appear to be Mundorf air motion knock offs combined with likely Asian built midbasses. You won't see Accuton's and Raal's in speakers at this price point sold through a dealer network.
The Acoustic Evolution Micro ones. Dave figured they were Accuton midwoofers and Raal tweeters. But he mistakened them for the higher end line. These ones use Asian sourced drivers. Look impressive anyways. Lots of good stuff coming out of China these days. Great value. And not just the drivers are made in China, but I hear the complete speaker. Which explains the price.
Yes, I was, and even a bit before then. I even remember the very first time I heard Mr. Dylan's work over the local underground FM radio station. There were only 2 stations on FM in my area at the time.
To return slightly to the original post, it is amazing how for example loudspeaker pricing/marketing has changed, when I visited my first Munich Hi-End really expensive loudspeakers were few and far between, Magico had just introduced their Mini, Wilson were showing a pair of Watt/Puppies ,Euros 50k was if I remember correctly the absolute maximimum, now every loudspeaker manufacturer has a 100k loudspeaker in their range.
And it is a good job that aluminium is plentiful because the enclosures for amplifiers have also grown more massive every year
to mirror the growth in absolutely enormous loudspeakers.
Unfortunately a very high percentage of the HiEnd no longer has anything to do with sound quality and has become what, luxury items, male jewellery ?
