This will make your head spin... Synergistic Research Atmosphere

I have a similar Schumann resonator from Acoustic Revive (https://www.acoustic-revive.com/english/roomtuning/rr-77.html). This is quite a low cost product and can be purchased for something like USD $300 in Japan, it's also been around for quite a while. What it does is lighten the weight of the atmosphere in the room. It's that simple and the change is quite significant. Turn it off and the room atmosphere becomes hard and cold, turn it on and the room atmosphere feels airier and less dense.

Welcome to the WBF.

As for the atmosphere becoming airier and less dense ..

The product is complete BS, and will no doubt be purchased by the more 'open minded',who also purchased, cable lifters, mains cables, grounding boxes, green felt pens and aluminium foil listening hats.

Thought so as well. Had a chance to try it and naturally heard no change, possibly because of my negative bias. One evening I was listening with a lady friend to some big orchestral classical music ( she plays the violin and has good ears ). While we were listening, I changed the setting from "in my room" to "ethereal" or whatever that setting is called. She turned to me and asked what the heck I had done. Evidently I had just moved her seat back five rows in the hall. I did not tell her about the A. She is a very rational person and i did not want her to think that I'm more nuts than she already asumes. Whatever, that shocking experience has opened my tin ears a tad. I've kept the Atmosphere and now sometimes I hear subtle differences. :p
True story by the way. Didn't make this up.

i love this one.. you tried it and could hear no change good or bad. then someone else happens to comment on a change though she prob just yawned and cleared her ears or swollowed some drink and again released some minor impeadment. though you now think dispite still not hearing anything convincing this product makes a difference.

i have a sugestion for all of you here.. instead of trying to determin if there has been some minor change that in fact may well be just fantasy or be down to a million other varibles you may not be aware of why not concentrate on how you feel when your listening! are you getting closer inside the music in a way that brings more joy.. opens up your soul.

now doing this and finding products or setup tricks that make such a real change will not only make you very happy but also stop you really giving a dam what others think and thusly will bring to a end the ' its foo your an idiot and wasted your money' 'no your a closed minded fool who is missing out and will never truely get hifi though i will keep argueing with you beacuse i want to help you realise how stupid and narrow minded are' tribal silo nonsense.

Love yours as well! :D
Hope your ears are better than your sense for self irony. :D Say this with all due respect, which you seem to lack regarding my lady friend. She only yarns, belches or farts in private. Thanks Spaz, you've made my day:)

YAWN.......omegosh you're right Spaz, your post feels much better!
But enough already with our tomfoolery.
Have a great day and happy listening!:b

Guys, testing audio changes w/the fairer sex. The ultimate bravery. I force myself to run a-b demos past my GF, and know I've got it wrong/wasting her time BIG time, when I get the raised eyebrow, and the command to open another bottle of Real Ale.
And got it right when she smiles a little...and commands me to open another bottle of Real Ale!

I drag mine into my listening space whenever I have made a change. She not only has absolute pitch, an absolute terror with turntables, she can also hear subtle changes and put them into words.(with or without belching Spaz.:b
And yes, she also likes beer and generally will command one, if she is comfortable with the music.:b
