Tripoint troy signature grounding device

Wow this guy sure came up with a great way to make money!

No, Miguel came up with a great concept to elevate our audio systems!!

Miguel is one of the most passionate and dedicated audiophiles I ever spoke to. He deserves much more credit for his concept than he actually gets.

Buy a Tripoint Thor signature and experience for yourself.

I believe you that it works. But I'm having a hard time believing the money wouldn't go further in other areas. Whenever I see people spending this kind of money on things like this, I can't help but think about all of the other low cost things they could do that would bring even better improvements, but don't do.

I would rather figure out how it works and build my own. This seems like a more cost effective solution:

That is of course up to you. However, the Tripoint Troy and Tripoint emperor are much more sophisticated than just 'grounding boxes'. Miguel has been working on these devices for about fifteen years before getting at where he is right now. That is why I spoke about a concept; most people have no clue about what these Tripoint devices are actually doing and how much effort as well as time it cost to built the Troy and in particular the emperor. So the price reflects not only the component costs (and look how exquisite the Tripoint devices are manufacturered) but also the working hours and countless r&d hours.

The money on the Tripoint devices is imo very well spend, in particular given the magnitude of improvement they bring. Mike has for example been working on his great system for many, many years and see what he is experiencing (and 'feel' his enthusiasm) at the moment.

The same happened to me when I inserted the Tripoint Troy a couple of years ago and later the Tripoint emperor in my Genesis 1.1 system, a system that I thought was completely tweaked out and I had been working on with a friend/technician for a very long time.

So I am pretty sure that 'home grounding solutions' might bring something to the table but I am highly doubtful if any of them can be as effective as Miguel's concept.

Looks to me the only thing it has over pounding copper ground rods into the earth is, it's portable. I'm sure you can obtain at least as good of results with a dedicated star grounding system for your listening room.

Be my guest.

started listening to the Troy Signature around 8 pm last night. listened till 11pm last night, then today since early.

My recollection is about 48 hours for the initial settling-in, then continuous improvement for the next 1-2 months.

What does it sound like? Music. Don't worry about the analysis. Everything just flows in the right way. There are plenty of descriptions out there, and yet it defies description.

People, this is religion, not science. Until you experience, there is no way anyone could explain it to you and no way for you to understand.

I have a dedicated ionic grounding rod for my room.....so our experiment was in addition to that....

I was reading about a star grounding system where you pound 4 copper grounding rods into the soil outside your home, and run thick copper wire to a hub in your audio room. Cost's a few hundred $ to buy the supplies and a couple of hours labor. Best to do in the process of building your sound room. But they are claiming all of the same benefit's I'm hearing here so I might have to try it out! :)

I don't think this is religion. There's real reasons why this system would work. Just like theres real reasons why what I explained in my previous post should work at least as well.

Blizz - I posted something about setting up an external grounding post in my garden (albeit no star config) but a tonne of comments came back to me saying that it was dangerous and violated the law?

Well hopefully I won't get thrown in jail for trying it at my place :)

Bill, the same naysayer comments too on my place burning down because of my 8kVA balanced power transformer.
Party poopers! LOL

have you tried troy spirit? 8k for a ground cable... och lol
i wonder if it will make my crap digital sound like analogue ;)

your ok putting rods in your garden better to dig a hole and put copper grid down it and special conductive concret over the top... just dont disconect the main earth that runs back to the cu/sub station. think extra ground point not replacement.

what i want to know is what the guy who makes the 50k plus troy system thinks about the guys who feel they have to combine it with 20k of entreq? why? whats the troy not doing?

Spaz - is that bit true about putting an additional ground in garden?

Spaz, Troy was never likely because of the necc for Troy outlay in one go. My combination of Entreq Silver Tellus/9 Apollo leads/Silver Cleanus/Olympus Mini, equates to just less than the standard box and 3 Troy Silver leads, but has been built up from a basic level over a couple of years.
I have no doubt that Troy may give me more benefits, but I'm happy w/my choice.

Don't even ask about Troy v Entreq - ostensibly, Entreq is signal grounding (leads to sockets), Troy is chassis grounding (leads to casework screws). But since any two people can't even agree what these grounding principles are, best to leave it there. It looks like Mike will be going for an uber grounding spectacular, combining both approaches.

well its true that is fine in all practical reality. you can get electrical contractor to do it. investigate it m8, dont take my word for it. i am called spazmatron.. turbotard was my other WBF name choice:D

get a cpc choke m8.. ben duncan makes them £40 ish. they stop the hf nasties from creeping down your earth line and giving it too you prison style. look it up. if you get one let me know as belive it or not where you put it and its orienation makes a big difference on end result.

its not very WBF but it works and cost fcuk all.

Thanks Spaz. Will have to google cpc choke cos no idea what the hell that is. My hifi room backs on to my garden so plenty of space to install a pimp my ride star ground / grid extravaganza if ok. Will check with a sparky.

The only thing that will be able to beat that is if Peter Popoff himself came to bless it :)

Spaz, for reasons of corporate secrecy, or downright deliberate obfuscation, neither Miguel of Troy or Per Olof of Entreq, have EVER revealed ANYTHING to help answer these qs. Add the objective crowd/electrical engineers' total skepticism of the principle of grounding beyond safety ground, and those that believe both techs can be replicated for a few bucks burying ground rods in the garden, and I don't think you'll get much enlightenment.
I'm sure Mike will find Entreq and Troy complement each other. Most will stick to one approach, or the other.

Back to Troy for a minute - how much is the Troy btw? How does the price compare to the Atlantis Tellus? Is there a European dealer network for Tripoint products?

It's like 25000 Euro's with the cable.

Your too late Blizz, within moments of going Entreq, Per Olof's "Miracle Earth" from his farm in Sweden spilled forth from the Silver Tellus box (damn that FedEx man dropping the blamed box!).
I looked at it and said, "Amen, this is a miracle. All this earth, for the knockdown price of £1650, I am truly blessed."
I gathered it up, rubbed it in my head, and got hair like Peter Popoff.
Oh, and also my audio sounded better than ever.
