VAC Sigma 170i

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on the VAC Sigma 170i integrated amp and was wondering if anyone had any comments on their impressions of it. It will be paired with Von Schweikert Endeavour E-3 Mk II speakers.

I currently am running an Audio Research I 50 integrated.

Will this be a significant upgrade?

In all candor (and, of course, you'll have to consider my obvious bias), when a very good friend got back into audio in 2020, he and his wife toured the Florida Audio Expo, and selected the VSA Endeavor E-3 Mk II, paired with the Sigma 170i (with the SE upgrade earlier this month). They make a terrific combination.
