Vinyl becoming an HBO series?

I really like the series so far. Mick Jagger was the one who came up with the idea and pitched it to scorcese 20 years ago as a movie. So yes while highly dramatized I belive these are based on real stories of what went on in that era. And who could resist looking at all that vintage gear!

just caught up with you Christian - it did indeed get a bit rough, although the show seems to be getting better as it goes along in general.

Overall I give Vinyl a 7/10. Has room to grow. Didn't like the entire mob story line which I thought soured the last episode. love the music industry progression (punk, disco, hip hop, etc) and hope that is more the way the show moves in season 2. Bobby Canavale should be Emmy nominated and Ray Romano has been excellent as well.

. . . . Bobby Canavale should be Emmy nominated and Ray Romano has been excellent as well.

+1

And I think the show has been improving rapidly.

I see HBO has canceled the series.
