Wadax Studio Player Review

I don't recall every audio company showing their products undressed for the world to see over the last 50 plus years. On the Wadaxwebsite there are diagrams and details of what the inside contains and even a "see through" picture.
I'm truly not understanding what else you want and why.
Does every other digital company show their naked guts? I'm asking for a friend since I personally don't find this important.

BTW I still have KINGREX blocked and I still don't like him :)
Oh, 99% of other manufacturers make no secret of it; if something's revolutionary, the circuit is patented anyway. Diagrams aren't interesting; they don't look any different from any other; they're just like the rest. I'm naturally curious about how it works, what components they use, and what circuitry they have. Although that's difficult these days, since everyone uses SMD components, it was and is easier with tubes. Don't worry, I usually find everything online, or a friend who buys one of these devices can.

99 percent WOW can you show me proof of that? I would like to see a complete list of all including the pictures

At least it would be interesting what streaming platform the WSP uses. There are not so much on the market, most manufacturers use ConversDigital or StreamUnlimited. My guess is ConversDigital

I would bet on streamunlimited with software sdk you can integrate all music services of the world and end devices with custommade programming (no matter connection usb, wifi bluetooth etc..) I will look out if stream 1955 module can be seen in a photo;)

P.S Metronome use it too

TMZ reports, but could not be certain, that the Wadax Studio Player was spotted at the Bezos/Sanchez event over the weekend.
These reports however are inconclusive. They had sent their leading "tube detector"

I’ll have a chance to audition Studio Player in my room as a possible replacement to my Aurender / Lampi combo. I wonder if there is any way to play my local files, which are stored on the Aurender internal drive? I also have some music stored on Synology NAS, but I am not sure how to access it from Wadax. Another question is about optimal impedance setting for CH L1.

Thanks in advance,
Aziz

yes. the Wadax Studio Player has Ethernet and is UPnP compliant and can act as a UPnP Renderer to read remote files on your network. not sure whether your Aurender can be that source device. but transferring those files to an appropriate NAS ought not to be too difficult.

as i recall my Wadax Reference Dac is set at '0' impendence and ''1v' output. but it's been over 3 years since i set it. i think i did some listening between a few choices and that is where i ended up. with the Studio Dac there is a volume attenuation capability so that might affect which is best.....even though you are not using it.

you will need either Roon, or Jplay to access the files on your network. The Studio Player works with both of these .
You should try adjusting the impedance to match your system. I think that you may find somewhere in the 8.3 area might , and I emphasis might since its your system be about right. The output voltage is either 1, 2 or 4 volt. I also suggest that you try them to see which again works with your system.
FYI I use different output settings in my two WADAX systems since they have different Preamps.
I suggest you give Qobuz connect a spin since it is quite good.
