I find bis to be a very good label.I have some early ones from the 80s and they sound excellentI love this SACD! The performances are top notch, and the sound has a tactile sense of realism but with plenty of air around the instruments. As good as it sounds, I can't help but wonder if it would sound even better if BIS (and other companies that issue SACDs) used DSD instead of PCM recording technology. I know DSD is harder to edit, but I understand the technology has improved. Anyway, a great recording.

No, yours is the B minor Mass--mine is A Musical Offering--two entirely different works! Same performers, though. BIS-2151I wonder if it is the same I have (mine's 2007 - BIS 1701/2) - mine's ripped to 64 .dsf off a SACD.
It is very good, as I recall. BIS is very reliable.
