What are you currently listening to (Classical)?

I love this SACD! The performances are top notch, and the sound has a tactile sense of realism but with plenty of air around the instruments. As good as it sounds, I can't help but wonder if it would sound even better if BIS (and other companies that issue SACDs) used DSD instead of PCM recording technology. I know DSD is harder to edit, but I understand the technology has improved. Anyway, a great recording.

I find bis to be a very good label.I have some early ones from the 80s and they sound excellent

You (both) are of course aware at what late date RvB finally starting issuing CD recordings on that label without pre-emphasis?

DSD could be decades off into the distance. :)
