That "old bald man" is my father. Please be respectful.

Respectfully, many things!

"What do these 3 photos have in common?"
Many things:
>Reproduction of audio.
>Round objects.
>The color white in the photos.
>Reflective surfaces.

Not being disrespectful to Lildebs888, but where is this going?

Respectfully,zz

First is a tape reel in fast forward or rewind
Third is the same reel on a ReVox
Second is a recording session with Dave Wilson

So all three are related to a recording.....

Maybe Wilson is starting a tape project, releasing the old recordings on tape and /or announcing a new recording venture..

I hope so

If I understand correctly, Bruce B is mastering vintage Wilson tape masters for digital release. Maybe Bruce can tell us what format.

Or maybe they will be tape dubs.

Update: A forum search shows Bruce archived DW's tapes to DSD, which Wilson choice as the most transparent to source, in
a blind audition, interestingly enough.

DW is making a video annoucing the release of his remastered Wilson Audio label recordings.

The first release: "The Organ at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco" performed by John Fenstermaker.
Wlson Audio catalog #W-794
