What is new in my music library? (recent purchases I enjoy)

Good one. Have this joint work by him and Max Richter:

So this one is a draw.

OK, this is bad. I go in my library and I see no less than five albums by Eleni Karaindrou!!!

Here are the ones I have:

In other words, I had cleaned up HDTrack's albums by Eleni Karaindrou :). Just no time yet to listen to them.

So looks like I win this one by two?

This is interesting... I bought a new album by Max Richter that was just released called "Sleep." Not "From Sleep" which had come out earlier and is a subset of this. But the full "sleep." :)

Anyway, this is a behemoth of a release clocking at 8 hours and 24 minutes!!! It was on HDtracks but it has now vanished! Thankfully I bought it before that happened. Here is the cached link on Google:

Wonder if there were some rights issues that caused it to be pulled.

Either way, this counts for at least 8 albums if not 10 Mr. Lindeman.

I have not heard this one yet, but I have very high hopes. Miles-Davis-Kind-Of-Blue-MFSL-45RPM-Box-ROCKSTUFF-Vinyl.jpg

I will be interested to see how it compares to the original six eye mono and stereo. The MFSL packaging is superb and the inner booklet is a very nice touch.

This is going to knock your socks off. I have the recent 24/192 remaster and it is scary good.

So far, I have been very impressed by the re-issues from MFSL. Particularly the 45rpm versions. My early pressing six eye mono is a superb pressing, and up to now has been my go to recording of this great LP. I expect the new MFSL LP to be even better!

Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Lovely compilation of tracks from popular artists. Led me to buy more of their CDs within.

Purchased in 44.1/24-bit from Prostudiomasters: http://www.prostudiomasters.com/album/page/562

And check out this album cover. Much more catchy than anything Mr. Lindeman has posted:

I think this counts as two points because of that.
