What turntables do you use? Pictures would be nice as well :-)

Syntax can also be found on Romy's website spreading his word there too.
Any association with a TW product he will bash, so anything TW shows with or has a history with is included in his "list".

Boy, SME must have escaped his notice. It would be interesting to read Syntax's list of turntables that do things well and why.

From what I gather, he likes SME.

P3-24 for sure guys with all the Groovetracer upgrades. It sits in a walnut "box plinth" that I had built by my Amish cabinet maker. The table sits atop a 3cm granite slab that in turn sits atop a 1/4" neoprene sheet. The whole thing weighs in around 60# plus/minus. The paint job was done by a local car/safe restoration guy...Billy Jay Espich. BJ does all the pinstriping for the Lexus/Infiniti/BMW and Mercedes dealers. He did the pinstriping and the Rega P3 logo...all freehand. I really don't have much to compare it with but it does sound pretty darn good to these old ears. Thanks for the props.

..and yes those are VPI Classic 3 feet

here's one of mine 4sale btw (shamless plug).

i love regas, i had a P9 until recently (avatar). imo, they're for the music lover that has their ego in check and dont need to flaunt their cash, I probably should have kept it and called it a day. it's a HUGE slice of the high end at a peanuts price (relatively speaking).

Sweet. I am thinking of having my TW platter upgraded to the Anni. I have had my AC 1 for about seven years now.

Great minds.

I have had my AC-3 for 5 years. The BN platter with the new TW bearing is in transit. Will have it next week :D

I have always wanted a turntable with a ball bearing bearing.
