What turntables do you use? Pictures would be nice as well :-)

Mine is a Saskia II.

It's a prototype, so pay no attention to the motor controller. It'll be pretty when it is finished.
Here are some crummy cellphone photos taken at an event last weekend in New England.

Any plans to show your TT at RMAF this year Mosin? Sure would like to hear it.

Sean

Thanks, Mark.

Sean,
So far, RMAF looks like a real possibility. It's a prototype, so a few things need a bit of tuning, but it showed well on its first outing. 78 RPM was the big surprise with some of the 78 microgroove records I have. I wish a lot more of them were pressed because they sound amazing.

Mosin - I see a Saskia in my future! It will make a great companion to my Blue Angel Mantis which we both have talked some moons back.

It's going to ship in a week...

I bet you can hardly wait Christian. Congratulations. I love the fact that there is a newly developed BELT DRIVE turntable that is vying for State of the Art. There is so much chat about idler and direct drive these days. I'll be very curious to read your finding on the HRS versus the Herzan platforms. When will the tonearm be ready?

I've been meaning to get a Passport. ;)

Saskia II is a completely upgraded model, even though it looks basically the same as the original. Hopefully, all the changes are meaningful to users.

The Elite arm will not be ready until the fall. The Supreme 12" is 3 weeks out. I may have the table w/o an arm for a week or two as my current arms are not sme mount. Patience is a virtue.

Not that it isn't worthy, but haven't we all said that about some component we purchased?

Of course, but my feeling based on engineered design and execution of this table... I can't see many companies finding it financially viable to develop a table that exceeds the features/sound performance this one has. Who in there right mind spends $100K on a turntable ? The market is pretty small, imho.
