A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.
Got half way through it near 40 years ago.

Silk on board cover with numerous tipped in photographic illustrations throughout. Confoundingly beautiful book on the still largely male practiced Japanese Ikebana.

Really great biography. Bob Motley was the man!

Great video of him being honored at Dodger Stadium when he was the oldest living Negro Leagues umpire.
