The Ray Brown Trio - Soular Energy
45 rpm, Quality Records pressed. It sounds better than the 33. Loved it. A bit of between track surface noise, not a pop or tick heard during the music for four sides. Highly recommended.

the super analogue edition from japan done in the early 90s on an all-tube mastering/cutting system was the vers to have. I haven't heard this latest 45 release, i'm sure its good. the regular ol' CJ pressing I have is great too!

The issue that is 33 currently in print would make my stylus (Coralstone) jump a bit on the hardest piano strike (song 2, one occurrence), The 45 issue is easier tracking w/o giving up the glory. It sounds like a rtr tape machine is playing.

Just got the boxset today (all the studio album without the non essential ´Cut the Crap´' and the 'Live at Shea Stadium´). Back to my late teenage roots...

Out of this Mood - Lyambiko

Her voice never gets old to me. Fine trio and sonics are very, very good. It's just standard redbook. Not some special Phile release, to my knowledge, anyway. Shocking must of slipped thru QC.
