What's Spinning Tonight?

Just finished listening to Bill Evans, "Soulgrass", a bluegrass - jazz fusion album in Redbook. Note that this is the saxophonist, not the pianist! Now on to "Time Out", by the Dave Brubeck Quartet, re-release by Classic Records, 33&1/3.

That's a pretty neat mixture of bluegrass and jazz!

BTW, thanks so much for keeping this thread going. I always look up the music you are listening to and often purchase some.

Glad you enjoy some of my selections, Amir. As you can tell, I have eclectic musical tastes! The "Soulgrass" album was a Grammy winner, I believe. Definitely not your laid back jazz!

Had to take a little break, as my Spatial Isoplane arrived and of course I had to set the Mac mini on it! Looks really nice! Now listening to an ORG 45 RPM re-release of The Gerry Mulligan Quartet, "What Is There To Say?".

Jumped onto the wayback machine and am now listening to Lee Michaels, "Space And First Takes", from my mint 1972 A&M Records pressing.
