What's Spinning Tonight?

My ignorance of music shows again :).

So what is the definitive SRV album to own? I have The Sky is Crying.
Personally I don't think there is one specific studio album as they all have a few cuts that are really strong. Having said that, many feel that Texas Flood is his best (also his first) with In Step not far behind. In Step has the gorgeous Riviera Paradise on it.

Boy do I miss those Earl session's at the
Sittin' Bull Pub and other blues acts for that matter. Now those were the days. Not walking into a Newbury Comics flippin vinyl, not even close.

Oh absolutely! I had a tape recording of it from FM radio when it first came out and I would listen to it over and over again. Had to order it on CD now and did so on Amazon as it is streaming as I type this... Thank you so much.
