Johnny Jewel ?– Digital Rain - beautiful dark ambient from Johnny, exquisitely cut to vinyl by Burnie Grundman. Even the coloured vinyl is quiet and sounds great.

generally I HATE coloured vinyl as its almost always higher noisefloor and has ticks and pops that really is not what vinyl is. luckily this is very good silent pressing

Yes I agree with you.I try to avoid them as well even though they look nice.

This is a excellent album which I have and enjoy.

 

Dead Can Dance ?– Within The Realm Of A Dying Sun - 1987 - original UK release - MPO pressing. My fav DCD album - still remember buying it from the 4AD section @ Phantom records - bought it because the cover was cool ( one of the best covers of all time) - was not disappointed.

 

Cocteau Twins ?– Head Over Heels - another 4AD classic , released 1983. they still had they dark goth edge, not the lush beautiful sound they ended on - lovely album.

 

For my daily commute to work today I was listening to a double album.

Cabaret Voltaire ?– Code - RIP Richard H - a terrible loss - they had 4 albums out in the last 2 years and they were superb,
