What's Spinning Tonight?

In the audioroom right now☝:

I’m checking out a few of my old psychadelic trance albums, spanning this time from 1996-2012. Cosmic Cubes and Goa-Head compilations.

All these albums are very well produced and recorded, and the the sound quality is exceptionally good. So very fun listening to them again.. -it’s been a while since last time.

Various – To The Shores Of Lake Placid

Someone sent me this, but didn’t say his/her name. I had this in the 80s. Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes and more.

Sting - Ten Summoner's Tales
David Sancious and Tone - Dance of the Age of Enlightenment

I spent a lot of time (years) tracking down a boot of DOTAOE, finally succeeding with mp3's from [REDACTED]. Then, approximately a year later, it is finally officially reissued. The speed change (slower) is not slight. It is night and day; an entirely different (more insightful and culinary) perspective on the music. Sometimes, I prefer the "incorrect" faster version. It's breakneck, less "digestible", pace makes one feel like one is on a "Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy" or "Visions of the Emerald Beyond" speed trip. Perhaps spread out over 2 discs, this will one day be offered on vinyl (officially and not as a promo).
