What's Spinning Tonight?

New Years Day on the SONY SCD-1☝:

Vangelis - China, from 1979 on CD.

I bought this album in the early mid 80’s and it has been a lovable album ever since. I love the whole album, each and every song, but extra special to me is the eighth track ”Himalaya”! In those 10.53 min of track time, it’s like you are being transported into this harsh, rough, cold and snowy high elevated mountain environment! Emotionally it feels like you are way away from home, standing small against those mighty mountain massives. Vangelis is (or was) the undisputed master of capturing your emotions and feelings in to the music. This Vangelis China album is highly recommended, enjoy ;) !!

Ok I admit it.
Type O Negative's "Bad Ground"... talk about getting hifi sickness.
I walked straight into the trap.
Had completely forgotten about that little joke,..

On the Ascona Neo right now☝:

Tchaikovsky - Swan Lake, on 2 x 180g black vinyl at 33rpm.

Ernest Ansermet conducting Orchestre De La Suisse Romande in this stunning hi-end quality recording. The sound is absolutely top notch and very much suited for New Years Day.. Behold!

Okay - now I have to check out that too…
Have to stream though, cus I don’t have anything with T.O.N.

Yea I thought something was wrong with my DAC .. LOL.. :D ..!!!

But to be honest… Type o Negative is NOT my cup of tea…!!! Yeeek!! I know why two seconds after he began singing… So then I know I’ve heard them before and despited them then too..

Well they are for sure very skilled musicians, but not for me…

Streaming right now:

Bracco - Dromonia, from 2022.

This is in style with VoxLow or The KVB and would be very much in line of what Shane @XV-1 use to listen to. (Hope you like it buddy) This is an electronicly inspired kind of dark synth rock, with a sound and a recording that beat most of what I’ve heard lately… Darn cool album  , Enjoy !!!
