I intend to open a thread on this Jazz Giant.. Too often forgotten: Charles Mingus.
Charles Mingus - Mingus Ah um
Just out of this world good .. Must figure in any Jazz fan collection ... More later
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme .. What else can be said about this album?
Sonny Clark Cool Struttin'
Easy going bluesy Album not at the level of the two first Gigantic Oeuvres .. A change of pace, less intense, less sophisticated, entertaining nonetheless

...So is a dedicated Classical thread, and a Blues music only dedicated thread.
...And then one for each other genre: Opera, Orchestral, Chamber music, Classic Rock, straight Rock & Roll, New Age, Alternative, World, Soul, Motown, Reggae, Ladies only, Men only, etc.
...Heavy Metal, Soft Rock, Hard Rock, Hard Core, Punk, Rap, Western, Easy Listening, Electronic,
...and whatever the kids have just invented in the last year or so.
