I came across this...apparently each of the Lord of the Rings has the regular soundtack...but they also produced a 3-CD + 1 DVD-A box set for each film of ALL the music for each film...3 films means 9+ hours of Howard Shore. Each set comes in a box that looks like an antique book...quite cool. Good music.

 

Listening to early Elton John .. People !! Was he good or what? And the orchestral arrangements are superb, likely one of the best one has ever heard in Pop/Rock...
