Funny. I read a fascinating article about the blind audition process for getting a job in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The pressure must be intense. No shoes because the judges might be influenced by the sound of heels when the performer approaches her/his/their chair. No name, just a number or code and the impression of the performance.
