Would you Pay $250 to Hear Specific Equipment at a Dealer?

ABSOLUTELY!! I AM GONNA BRING MY MUSIC YOU AGREE TO LET ME LISTEN TO IT ON THE GEAR I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING, AND THEN SUBTRACT FROM THE TOTAL IF I BUY? I'D SAY THAT WAS A WIN WIN.

you gonna kick a lotta tires before you can afford a Ferrari.

Can the $250 deposit be applied to anything in the store? If yes, then I would pay for a demo and if the demo did not materialize into a sale of said products, I would simple buy $250 worth of albums, accessories, software etc. When I visit a B&M and listen to some equipment, I always buy a small item (usually an album or 2) as a little thank you for their time.
it was not required but after my Saturday morning store visit. I always tried to buy something. many times, it was my turn to evaluate the latest tweak. once I went through my drawer and found numerous tweaks I had failed to return. I just paid for them.

I'll pay a $250 cover charge to visit/audition said system.

That said, it has better be worth my damned time. If it isn't? A refund is not out of the realm of things.
