Jimmy was good plus John and Rip both told him that he has a home at Yellowstone if things at the Four 6's doesn't work out. I think we will see Jimmy again.
The big question is what will become of Jamie.....plus at the end John said he loves Jamie even though he was adopted but he raised him and admitted he still loves him . So what kind of pawn will Jamie become. Plus the kid who adopted Beth almost certainly will be have a larger role as he was well cast in the part. She has once again softened to the kid although she didn't like it when he called her mom. She told him "I'm only your friend, kid....you only get one mother". Of interest that creates three grandkids that John Dutton now has if we also consider Jamie's son

Truly the best show on TV IMHO

For me this was probably the best season so far. It's funny how little the proposed development actually played into the season. Expanding the show with 'stableboy", Jimmy (now Jim) at the 6666, and softening Beth (who I still wish they had killed off rather than her older brother) aided to the season.

Not sure if you guys picked it up but the Sheriff they killed off in the restaurant scene already has a part in Taylor Sheridan's other show "Mayor of Kingston".

If Beth would have been killed as you suggested this season would never have been along this storyline. Beth was IMO the star of this season‘s finale but was center to the entire season storyline including the back story with Jamie .
I’m hoping she’s nominated and will win

I enjoyed this season, but thought it was pretty fake that Jaime would all of a sudden grovel to Beth. She had nothing on him. Her hubris ultimately will be her downfall next season and I’m with Jim that she needs to go.

Jimmys character arc was outstanding.

<snip> She had nothing on him. <snip>
Good evening, Keith. She has a photograph of him and "option 3" at the "train station". (Trying not to spoil it for those who haven't watched this episode yet). I wouldn't be surprised if she recorded the original conversation in the office either. She always seems to play chess while others are playing checkers.

I have this sneaking feeling that Jimmy is gonna be back next season. Why else would they have given him so much time this season? He is now "cowboy" and sounds like Texas was definitely good for him but for some reason, I don't think that this will be the last we see of him or his fiancé. He still wears the brand, even though his clothing is now 6666.

I agree. Jim will be back. Let’s not forget that he wears “the brand”. Those that didn’t wear the brand we’re escorted to “the rai road station” across the state line in Wyoming.
I would be surprised to see Beth go but there are a lot up of people who would love her dead

I meant in the office conversation before the options were given. And he was instructed to go see the prison guy by his own brother on behalf of John.

Beth knows she is going down, hence the makeshift wedding.

I’m wondering if Jimmy may end up in the spin-off off of Yellowstone being developed under the working title 6666.

Did I just read a report correctly that Yellowstone is no more? That the show has been canceled?

[EDIT:] I could not find the original report I found, so this may not be substantiated but it had to do with Big Pharma (according to the article I read) claiming that Kevin Costner had a breach of contract when he started selling CBD or something like that. At the time, I was on my phone and when I clicked back to see who the source was, the phone refreshed (go figure) and did not bring me back to the prior page.

In full disclosure, I have looked online and could not find anything to confirm this. It does look like their will be another spin-off with Jimmy down in Texas with the 6666 ranch....and of course, we have 1883.
