Mostly there is a bit of air and resolution missing in the top end when you compare(256kbit) it with a CD. But you don't run scream out of the room because it is so sound so bad.

That's how I experience the difference between Spotify and Qobuz on my system. Subtle, but noticeable. The YouTube casting was significantly worse - there must be a better way of doing it, but I'm just going to move on, having no real interest in the subject.

There's a lot of reverb in that recording, but how many solo baritone saxophone recordings do you know? I can't think of one, but Qobuz comes up with some, and you can listen to them - some have good recording quality:

They sound good enough to listen to in the car or on a set of computer speakers but that's it. Same as any internet stream. I see the differences on the wave form when I digitize music. My $500 Denon cart outperforms everything from the internet. Easily.
