This DSD 64 recording sounds fantastic through my new iFi iDSD Pro DAC!

Very enjoyable in a neo-Romantic vein. The composer is the older brother of famed baritone Dietrich F-D. Qobuz 24/96.

Unappealing cover aside, this is wonderfully played and recorded. 24/96 FLAC.

Completely new to me.

Phew - bit tough for my ears - but thanks (I think?) for the experience!

Cheers ;)
Same here at the very beginning
But did you give it some more time to digest with more than just the first track?

Either I adjusted quickly or the rest of the Album is more approachable than the beginning :D

And btw.: Thank you very much @Bachtoven for pointing out lately that some of your suggestions are available on streaming services

This, too, is a little edgy, but I like it. (I have a pretty high tolerance for new music, but I do need a shred of melody here and there!) Qobuz 24/96.

Just for fun today I played Danse Macabre to give the speakers a workout. Streamed from Qobuz.
