I'm a Sirius subscriber and the sound quality of satellite radio is not very good IMO.

I must have the upgraded digital feed:D

I only listen to it in my car, but I thought satellite radio is heavily compressed.

What a great concert! I'm listening to it through my 350's and recording it with my 1/2 inch Studer. This house is Rockin!!!!!

Is there a better band today? It sounds fantastic puts the ol KSAN live concerts to shame...... Love Bruce...the whole house is rockin!

The engineers have got it dialed in!

I hope Mel Karmazin realises this is the future of satellite radio ,just awesome!

I'm doing the playback now on the 2nd reel and it sounds wonderful. This is the reason I bought my Studer originally,I hope there are many more live concerts. Even if it's pay for sound,I'm in.

Do you have a reasonable A/D converter there? Transcribe it to digital, post it, see what people think?

Tim might thank you ... :b:b

That's nice, Roger...thanks for sharing!

A great Springsteen performance unspoiled by bad mastering? Yes. That would be something to be thankful for!

Yes Tim very much so as the playback this morning is very good. The recording looses some of the natural bloom of the original sound but still is exciting. I might just have to build me a Ampex 1/2 inch Lundahl recorder. These tapes are keepers, just because there "homemade" and 2nd it's a great concert.
