Many people are now transitioning away from Dartzeel. I recall reaching out for distribution about seven years ago, and the emails I received came across as quite dismissive.
I think as a dealer, selling Aries, this statement is a little “rich” and self serving.
One of the reasons I loved my 25 years on the Naim forum - dealers are not allowed to “sell” or “hawk” on the forum.
Agreed. Not that nice to beat DartZeel when they are down. This could really happen to ANY high end component manufacturer. If you think Aries is immune, you couldn’t be more wrong.
And I’ve never heard an Aries amp, but there are many reasons why DarTZeel components are so widely praised. Don’t hear much about Aries.

I know of two other dealers with such expereince. I mean let's be honest - Dartzeel posted saying their value is going to go up. Everyone in the industry was laughing at them. That's pretty self-serving - and was posted here, no?
Just because someone is a dealer it doesn't mean they are not talking the truth.
Look at the well known shill we have on this forum and what he did for Dartzeel. He wasn't a dealer yet was more "paid off" than any dealer would be.
The value of DartZeel components will most likely go up! Come back here in 5 years and tell me I was right.
There is nothing else that compares at today’s used/street price of about $35k per component (18NS and 108).
If DartZeel comes out with a lower priced line, as he has let on that he will; these gold and red components will be like the original Kondo Japan Ongaku. (Note that I said “Japan” not UK
Hi Wil - I totally agree in transparency that way we know they are a dealer.
We also need transparency from these YT "dealer/reviewers" who charge $1,500 to walk into a room and cover them in their videos while pretending they are only covering them because they think it sounds good.
Now we just need to put a badge of some sort on the paid shills who pretend they are normal forum members.
They are the ones that slither by while everyone is too focused on crying that a dealer has an opinion.

You've never seen a TV commercial by a celebrity saying what a great car this is to drive, or this is the best reverse mortgage you can get?
When Kahn from Star Trek starts singing about a Chrysler Cordoba; if I had been old enough to buy a car...
It works. I look back on my younger days and I see how I was influenced to buy the new car, new appliances, new TV, etc. Could have retired sooner if I could have stayed out of car lots and Electronics stores...
I’m saying it bothers me not , free trade is free , they negotiate and pay the piper , it only becomes an issue if its a monopoly , which is basically how it was before internet , talk about dishonesty go back 30 yrs when the mags were the only game in town ..
Today there are so many avenues for private discussion and reviewing of any product , makes most subjective reviews of ohhh’s and ahhh’s mostly irrelevant apart from informing..
Financial deceptions aside , no don't see an issue nor need to know who is paying who, when you hear the product you make your own decisions or not , on the sound ..
If a youtuber is paid $1500 to create a piece, highlighting you and your gear, so what. The manufacturer bought an add. That does not mean the youtube host was dishonest. They deserve compensation to travel, spend time with you, edit content and upload. Do people have some issue with Youtube influencers being paid for their time. You know why people create youtube channels, don't you? It's to make money, not entertain you.
The point that’s being missed here, is they are presenting themselves as not being paid. If they are being paid, it’s deception, misrepresentation, sleazy — whatever you want to call it.
Are they small time home brew looking for attention. Or professional posters looking to build a channel with a million person following. Which would end up paying them a decent take home. Minus production cost which are very high.
Well one subjectivist reviewer who dabbles heavy in videos do enjoy big meals when dabbling , should this be disclosed if a positive review is given are the negative reviews because there were no meals offered ..!
