What about the standards, like:

a) Even my wife could hear the improvement
b) You cant maximize your system potential without at least $20K in cables, even if your system costs $5K
c) The difference this tweak made was like night and day
d) You havent heard TRUE DSD
e) You havent heard TRUE PCM
f) Only a true double blind ABX with 100 people can prove that this component sounds better, otherwise its all in your head
g) That component is too cheap to sound good
h) that component is too light to sound good
i) That amp MUST sound great, it weighs 250 pounds!
j) It takes 500 hours to break in, but you only have a week to return it. It sound great out the box.
k) A class D amp can never sound good.
l) All tube amps sound tubey with flabby bass and rolled off highs
m) You need 1000wpc to really make those bookshelf speakers sing.
n) You know that Horn speakers all honk.
o) Oh, that reviewer like those speakers? He MUST be on the take!
p) You like that component, you must be a shill/fanboy, making some money off it.
q) Its a game changer.
r) Its a giant-killer!
s) I came away underwhelmed

u) Nothing sounds good in audio show rooms

x) Only active bi-amping makes sense.

But (a) should read, even my wife could hear the differences and she was in the kitchen! (Of course hiding from you and your friend (s)).

I've never heard any of the items you're asking for opinions about, but in my opinion you should (a) buy what I bought, (b) buy what I'm trying to unload, (c) don't buy what I don't like, or (d) try the best tweak I've ever heard and keep what you already own.

It is known that vinyl sounds great mainly because of the associated rituals and beautiful LP covers.

I prefer listening to a $100 turntable than to a $100K digital player.

I prefer listening to a $100 digital player than to a $100k turntable.
