Damn those circular rooms. Terrible for SQ.

Superheroes use Bluetooth earbuds technology. Most of the time they're busy working/playing, flying in their suits, and sometimes driving cars (electric).

The very end of Avengers: Endgame and the subtle clanging hammer/metal sound.

I don't quite get something. If EndGame tix are eg twice as pricey as Titanic tix (likely, since we're talking a 22 years time gap), then the Avengers movie only has to sell just over half the tix Titanic sold to beat it's record.

Surely a better comparison is actual bums on seats, not $ value.

Poor 427SC! :)

If we're talking adjusted, Gone with the Wind may still be the record holder.

Now you're talking Jack.

Very good point Jack ... adjusted for inflation 'Gone With the Wind': $3.44 billion (2014 - 5 years ago).

On the other hand, 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame' are a two-part movie.
So far together they made ... $2.189 billion plus $2.048 billion equals $4.24 billion (4.237)
Just another perspective.

Endgame still has a long time to make more money.. We'll see.

Competition between theaters and other viewing ways are much higher these days.

well you could say that GWTW was so long at the time that there was an Intermission so was it one movie or 2.

Your analogy IMO is flawed because if they wanted it as one movie they would have done such

GWTW is the hands down winner Bob

The Marvel series is going nowhere anytime soon. A client of mine that is involved in production said there is 8 more on the board approved and funded and they are building studios in Atlanta specifically for the production of those movies (they might be done building them now).

Gone With the Wind: 238 minutes (with overture, intermission, entr'acte, and exit music).
...Say four hours (one more than Endgame).

Another point; budget versus box office revenues (GwtW):
Budget > $3.85 million / Box office > $390 million

Gone With the Wind is the overall all time Winner.
Avengers: Endgame is gone with the wind, dust in the wind. :D

* Avengers: Infinity War remains playing in theaters for two and half months (it might still be playing in some theaters somewhere in the world).
Avengers: Endgame, I can see it playing in theaters for three months, or more.

With that said, it sure has the potential to not only beat Avatar but to surpass the $3 billion cap.
It will never beat Gone With the Wind, inflation-adjusted, nothing will, forever, even in a billion years from now. :) ...Love stories over comics flicks anytime of the week.

With that said, I wasn't there in 1939, but I sure am in 2019.

I am going with my 35 year old daughter next weekend to see the movie.

The baddest sickest mustang ever! Pick your version 800hp or 1400hp. Drifting 1400hp all wheel drive up Pike Peak SMH!

Meh. There's only one drift video I enjoy. They're usually all the same, and get boring in a hurry.

To swerve and protect, LOL!
It does get old quick, however it does not change the badness of the vehicle. 1400 hp AWD 65 Mustang, would love to see that with a road race set up on it running laps.

I watched the three Mustang videos and the Motorcycles one; thanks for sharing...very very entertaining. It would have been real swell if they could have included some clips in Avengers: Endgame...I bet it would have passed the $3 billion cap by now. :D

Warning; don't watch this today's brand new trailer if you haven't seen Avengers: Endgame.
{Spider-Man says so too before the trailer starts}

What is the point of superheroes if it's not the secret identity jazz? I spent my youth following Spidey, and his Herculean efforts not to reveal his identity to anyone, least of all his adversaries.

And now we have a trailer where Peter spends 90% of screen time unmasked, and yes, face to face (literally) w Jake Gyllenhal.

Pass.

What fantasies turn you on Marc? ...@ the theater and @ home, on TV.

About Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, James Bond double 0 seven?
...Star Wars, Star Trek, Starship Troopers?
