I have been using cotton without shielding (to reduce capacitance) for years, usually just tightly twisted to achieve RF strength. Works great with RCA signal cables.
Thank you, and the DIY build you specify, that’s a very high ROI. Congratulations.

Interesting. You assume to speak for the group as a whole? To protect the group? From what exactly? Honestly, if you don’t like my posts, keep scrolling. The points I’m making are valid and receive different receptions depending on the forums where they are posted. In the weeks and months to come, I will be posting numerous thought-provoking topics. This is just the beginning.

Ted, of all the audio forms out there, which one do you think best suits your purposes?

basically manufacturers and dealers ought to be low profile on forums in general in my personal opinion. it's just common sense for a healthy forum. they are here because they want our money.

i view their credibility beyond a certain point, in the inverse of the posting frequency and focus on their own products or technology message. honestly i'm not happy to read that your already off the scale posting impetus is just the beginning. but the forum owners will do what they want. then the individual members will do what they want.

Didn't Gene over @ Audioholics offer up a challenge to you sometime back ? Whatever happened to that ??
Actually, I challenged Jean and he declined. If you go on YouTube and search “Synergistic Research audioholics challenge” you’ll get your answer.

this one

Many of the guys who post here constantly tend to be in the industry, directly or indirectly. They may not want my message getting out. I cross-post many of my thought-provoking topics to other forums, where they don’t elicit this foaming-at-the-mouth response that seems to come from a half-dozen or so people here. The responses there are, in fact, met with honest gratitude and foster deep conversation. This is my audience. The industry can no longer control the narrative.

Despite spending less money advertising in 18 months than my top three competitors spend in a single month (each), SR is one of the few companies in our space that is growing year over year since Covid, when our customers were forced to stay home and were showered with billions of free dollars. Now in 2025, we are set to take dominant market share.
Ted,
I dont think anyone here is trying to keep you out or have some inbred bias towards you or your company. I know I don't however playing a victum is BS. Every small company , many smaller than yours , have the same issues and those are of exposure. WE all need people to see and experience hopefully the fruits of our labors. I think the objections are more towards the manner that you do it rather than participating. I may have my issues with the mainstream press but I dont try to take over a week the entire WBF site. I wish you and your company nothing but success I want to see the entire Industry and Hobby flourish . I think an open exchange of ideas without the bias and bull crap is wonderful. I do believe that some of this has infected WBF and for many of us that is not a positive thing.
For the dealers, distributors and manufacturers that use this site I think this can be very positive however there is a fine line and the "shillism" and attacks should have no place here IMO.
I totally aggree the the Industry's gate keepers can no longer dominate the narrative. The days of the MSM are numbered and are rapidly changing. I think this is great. I hope we can all participate and be civil and have the ability to have learning and interesting discussion without the hyperbole and the nonsensical claims.
There is no best there is only the best in your opinion or system . We have no quantification standards so lets drop the crap and talk like grown ups.
I hope that the Industry as a whole takes notice becasue I do believe there is a lot of dirty tactics in play.
