The Acoustic Revive RR-777 might have been the first widely-discussed Schumann frequency (7.83 Hz.) wave generator said to improve soundstage and 3D imaging. Intrigued, I bought a $20 Chinese knockoff on eBay five years ago just for giggles to find that it did, indeed, make a wider & deeper difference. Then I upgraded the 12v power supply (worth it, I concluded) and even added a second unit (also mounted 5 feet above the floor, but on the other side of my listening room) to a somewhat greater effect. Voodoo success!I'm curios what others products are out there and what sort of performance do they bring.
I am not interested in plug in filters or power strips. I am interested in shall I call it a field generator. Devices that do not interrupt a power, signal, ethernet or other cable. I want to know about devices that broadcast something into the air that is supposed to mitigate noise. What's out there and how well do they work. What is the perceived performance gain. Is it a verifiable reduction in noise such as shutting down hum from a physical device or out of the speakers. Or is it a subjective enhancement of clarity or soundstage or some audiophile verbage.
Now knowing what a suggestible audio cheapskate I’d become, I ordered some very, very inexpensive negative ion generators from Amazon which would massage the air molecules to make me even happier. -No joy this time (maybe they don’t work at high altitude with 15% humidity). Back to Amazon.
So, there’s one “subjective enhancement of clarity or soundstage or some audiophile verbage” field generator voodoo item for your consideration.
