Looks like I'm skipping the Red Cap upgrade.

I will know more details after my meeting with CH at Munich Show next weekend. I expect a really good trade in policy for those with M-1 or M1.1 since they indicated that would happen.
FYI projected prices are 70,000 CH for the Stereo Preamp L10 and 90000 CH for the Stereo M10 amp ( 170000 for a mono pair)

Now i have a big doubt and every night i think before to sleep

My plan was to go on to do L1 mono with 2 X1,but now will be better than L10??????
Sure L 10 mono will be better, but too expensive for me,so
WILL BE BETTER L 10 OR L1 MONO WITH 2 X1???????

You started at 13?

You have been at this longer than you have had body hair, so you can continue till it falls off

I know 10 line has better component like resistors and capacitors so i think sound will be more relaxed and natural

I would also assume it is going to better sounding than the 1 series since it is about double the prices. 34500-70000 and 54000-90000.
I should have more details next weekend after my meeting in Munich with them. I will report on return.

yes But L10 has external power supply while if you consider L1 with X1 price is around 34.500 + 17.000

Hello Elliot,
Will there be a C10 DAC?

And how about a D10 Transport/Player?
A bit worry that Esoteric doesn't want to sell their sacd tranaport mechanisms or charge a very high price.
The dCS Rossini Transport has to use a Denon mechanism
So it's worrisome for the future of CH Precision D1 too.

Many thanks!

I guess the "worst case" scenario would be if the D10 would use a different CH Link interface. If that happens, I'm pretty sure a modular output board will be made available to D1 owners.

I don't know anything other than what was in the press release however I am going to Munich for the show and will meet with Florian and Rafael as I always do and see what they have to say about the future plans.
On a personal note I wonder in a few years if any companies will be making CD drives as this doesn't seem to me to be a volume area of sales.
