CH Precision new 10 Series product in 2024 : C10 DAC

Finally it's done! C10 & T10 arrived! As said before and also said very well by pweg it's just breathtaking! Even after the fist 6 hours without any real burn-in... what a fantastic instrument the C10 is. Comparing with my former C1.2 everything improves: sound stage, micro details, etc etc. It's just a complete new and better sensation. Like each note has a silver coating. It sounds so natural.

Congrats! Very much look forward to hearing how it fares.

What fun ! Exited for mine to show up, anyone else have a C10 mono in their future ?

Congratulations, enjoy your new component's.

Does anyone know about the Local/Global feedback settings. Which one should I choose, what’s the difference?

Hi, according to my experience it is a matter of personal taste. While the "Global" setting has a more open, wider and deeper soundstage, the "Local" setting a bit tighter sounstage in a way but with more details.
It's just as said a matter of personal preference, I set all my 10 units to "Global".

Thanks for give me a guidance. I’ll have more listen with both settings.

I've been listening in both Global and Local with my new C10. It's a very subtle difference, and some tracks seems to prefer one vs another. I too have my pre 10 set to Global, and M10 set to Global but with 0% feedback. So, I'll probably keep Global as my preferred setting on the C10 as well. What an amazing DAC! Quite an upgrade in sound from the C1.2 Mono it replaces. Just so much more presence to the sound. Dead quiet and so alive and organic sounding. Digital is getting so gooooood!

Congrats...look forward to reading more about the new CH C10 DAC.

They are simply amazing. Look at my sky tower stacks the ultimatum resolution and depths of the music. So smooth that you forget about digitals.IMG_5498.jpeg
