combination of weiss dsp 501 with different brand dacs

Dear friends,

I consider to get the weiss dsp 501.
I would like to pair it with metronome c-aqwo in order to get pure, but yet warm and not too analytical sound.
I was thinking that the dsp has many options to fit with different products and it would be a great streamer as well.
Do you think it will be better to pair it with the Medea + ?
Does someone have any experience with weiss products and their match with different components like the metronome?
