The Australian Federal Minister for Home Affairs Peter Dutton who is in charge of our national security, police, all our emergency services and planning, immigration and our border control has just now been hospitalised with Corona virus.

Last week Peter Dutton was in a meeting of our entire Australian Government’s federal cabinet with all the heads of our government including our health minister, defence, finance, education, trade etc and also both the Deputy Prime Minister and the Australian Prime Minister .

I'm friendly with a couple of Russians. He learnt pretty much all his English from watching tapes of Yes, Minister.

His Russian wife learnt her English from Blackadder and Fawlty Towers.

Suffice to say, their English is impeccable. As is their sense of humour.

I also know a non Brit who learnt her English from...South Park!

Suffice to say, her English is dodgy, and her sense of humour even dodgier Lol.

That was the funniest show ever :)

In the thick of it was very pale compared to this. Yes prime minister did not turn out good but yes Minster was easily the best.

Even if you fold it in half like I do? When I first read this Ked I thought you meant given how long your relationship was that love making was no longer an issue... I apologise for completely underestimating your assets.

I hear the virus causes severe puffing up. In Ked's case, puffing up of the ego.

Some consensus in the UK that we'll hit peak incidence in 10-14 wks. How long it lasts beyond that...?

Good thing I have no need/compulsion for big ticket audio spending, all my efforts will be in keeping my clinics afloat, and being a good citizen.

Young people all think they're invincible. We were all young and stupid at one point.
I just learned that the two cases in my old neighborhood were the elderly election poll worker across the street and his direct neighbor he's been mentoring, a young woman helping at the polls.

Only about 100 people at the small precinct where I used to vote, but she was in proximity to everyone that voted in the primary on Tuesday when she started a fever.

Mask. Proven in the real world effective with Asians. But I am accepting from many experts that no need to use it in the West.

https://edition.cnn.com/videos/worl...yths-fact-check-lu-stout-pkg-intl-ldn-vpx.cnn

In Thailand and many asian countries, there are tons and tons of info about mask circulating on social media and from health agencies. We went through the learning curve. Just to inform you guys that should you need the mask when time comes, the regular medical mask like the white one in the lower right corner will do the job. The determining factor is more on its ability to seal with your face. Try to wear it as properly as you can. Eventually you will know how and you will adapt to a practical approach. You can use the N95 if you want. But when time comes, no need the N95. You are not going to find enough N95. You are not going to find enough masks. You have to throw away your mask everyday. When you take the mask on off, touch the string band, try not touching the mask itself. If you touch go wash your hands. My wife has bought almost every types of mask available until we finally had sufficient info about mask. The grey one on the left has excellent comfort and face seal, but eventually will run out. Right now we are using the white one I said. It is the type that is most available and most asians are now using.

*** I should send these masks for Bonzo to do A/B so that we have a test report.

I was wondering, if you could quarantine used masks, by say leaving them for 30 days, so that the vitus can just die by itself. This way you could end up needing much fewer of them.

In this video Dr. Bones argues that N95 masks can be reused:

Supposedly you can desinsect them by putting them to a dry oven for 30 min (which makes sense).

You are looking for trouble in all of the wrong places

They are meant for once only use

Supposedly desinsect them by putting them to a dry oven for 30 min (which makes sense).

It makes ZERO sense

Covid 19 read your posts and has quarantined itself for 14 days.

From Time magazine......

The U.S. government, in line with World Health Organization recommendations, says only those who are sick, or their caregivers, should wear masks.

A tweet from Surgeon General Jerome Adams sums up the argument: “Seriously people- STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!”
