Something i just found out , Kenji has temporarily suspended the production of the OP21a where the OP20 is now his flagship model. The chips are much harder to get he says and when he does the price is much much higher than when the model first came out. So if you have an OP21a - keep it and if you see one for sale - might not be a bad idea to just grab it since we have no idea when the suspension on op21 production will lift and if it will remain a model in the future as well.
Nice mate very nice indeed The op21a is going to be a treasure in our systems. I see you ave the select 2 with the femto clock as well , can you bypass the internal msb clock using the op21a?
well 2 ways of thinking about it. Way 1 an internal clock works better than external. Way 2....you want all components in your system to be run off 1 clocking signal . On top of that you believe the oxco used in the op21a is better than the femto. Not right or wrong but worth experimenting. You will need a good bnc cable of course for the clock signal
