I bought from the same supplier but another part number. Don’t know what the difference is

Great. The different part number is due to a different length of same product. Sadly all out of stock till end of October. Patience required, something which is hard. :)

When experimenting with fiber and media converters on each end, make sure to look into the power supplies of each of these.
The networking end of things is usually where (cheap) switched mode power supplies sneak into the chain...
Needless to say what that tends to do...

I fully agree with power supplies. For sure not to be neglected even if I believe that just moving into fibre makes an “upgrade” by itself. With power supplies needs also a good power cord. I was surprised the impact a Vertere Redline had on my Farad Super3 compared to a stock one.

Moving into fibre is also less expensive than buying a good power supply. “A Never Ending Story”

Until now the NAS connected directly to the Melco S100 with a CAT 7 no name cable.
Since I had two finisar 1318BTL left over I tried the one below because of the low cost.
NAS > CAT 7 > TP-LINK MC220L v4 > Plastic Optical Fiber > Melco S100.
The result was surprisingly good. More detail and better focus of instruments with less body.
By trying a Phoenix Contact glass fiber optic, which I borrowed from a friend, everything became even clearer. The sound got the body it was missing, the resolution and detail and the sound stage got even better.

There are other such converters on the market such as:
StarTech Media Converter MCM1110MMLC, StarTech Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Media Converter with Open SFP Slot, Digitus Media Converter Gigabit Ethernet to Optical and of course the much more expensive ADOT and Sonore.
I don't know the differences between all of them. If anyone knows, please help me.

I just ordered 2 of the new Sonore Deluxe and an LPS, hope this will bring something between my Paul Pang Switch and my Aqua LinQ.

Do you know where to get Phoenix Contact glass fiber optic cable ?

I guess you will hear improvements, at least I recognized this after installation of my 2 Sonore Deluxe with 2 LPS just last night. More details without becoming fatigued and still more flow in the music. And all this after having 2 Ansuz Powerswitches with Ansuz LAN / USB cables daisy-chained in front of my Extreme!

Do you have any reference number ?

I am sure you will here a difference. Unfortunately seems to be difficult to find glass fibre cables on the market right now. Waiting time. You will probably need to start with the pvc ones. Maybe you should pre-order the glass fibre. . What transceivers will you use? just have in mind that it’s different cables for singelmode and multimode transceivers. I bought two different transceivers 1475 and 1318. In my setup 1318 sounded better. Other people prefers 1475. I think it depends on the electronics / loudspeakers and the room.

I think it's the Finisar 1475, will see if i can find 1318 also to try out.

How much of a difference would you rate a generic Fibre media converter vs the new Sonore OpticalModule?
And Sonore is also providing a nice set to it with Finisar SFPs and appropriate cables.

Nor really this subject but …. I have downloaded a lot of albums from NariveDSD. Very high quality recordings. I recommend them!
