I think Gakuon has Mk2, also Gakuoh. I agree M1000 is better than mk2.

Actually the version of Elgar's concert is the one directed by Baremboin and the Philadelphia Orchestra, as Bonzo says, or rather it is the one directed by Barbirolli with the London Sumphony, because they really are two very different versions.

on LP Barbirolli is a much better recording than the Barenboim on LP

Well in post 179 Bonzo affirms that it is the version Du Pré, Barenboim, Elgar

Wonder why they use the same name "Kagura." If I were the owner of the version without the "I", I would be saying WTF! Imagine paying a few hundred thousand bucks and then there is another version of the same model that sound noticeably better. That is just fuck up and killing its own brand imo.

This thread is enlightening.

Hi Tang,

The original model had been out for approximately 4 years. Then in 2016 the Kagura was updated and has been called the I-Version as noted in the specs below. I've sold a few sets of I-Version Kaguras and everyone has understood that it is an updated version.

The Kondo brand is doing fine and not being killed even though you call it what you do.

Have a nice evening.

Ify you have Barenboim on vinyl and listen comparatively to one recorded during tv telecast in youtube, you might suspect, like me, that they are different recordings.

Sorry if i misspoke....

No that's fine just want to clarify same was used for all recordings, while streaming it is easy to click on one instead of the other
