Goebel Divin Noblesse Speakers in Da House!

I have no idea how many hours are on them as I don't keep tabs but they are sounding lovely. There is an immediacy to the sound that I am really liking.
Hi Howie.
Could you please elaborate it?
Do you mean immediacy on terms like resolution, timbre, speed?
Regards

Whoops it should have said 'intimacy". Must be my phone getting embarassed with these words. What i meant was that these Gobels look pretty menacing and intimidating but the sound is not at all. It can caress and feel soft and delicate when it needs to. I have found some speakers almost sound like they can't get the sound out during quiet or intimate passages. Almost like when a tenor holds a high note quietly. It feels almost surreal and unbecoming of this speaker. Naturally it can do the thump thump stuff too but I much prefer delicate acoustic music and this handles it really well. I almost feel I could strap them on as headphones. Hope that all makes sense!

Thank you Howie.
Can they go down with enough weight and punch with his 21HZ of response?

@Elliot G. Absolutely love the rings covering the drivers, and the detail of applying the same finish to the waveguide, it just gives a sense of visual cohesion that is quite appealing.
I think that not covering the visible screws of the drivers looks very amateur in high end speakers (and also causes diffraction), is quite nice to see such attention to "small" details.

I got involved with this company after meeting Oliver Gobel and seeing his products and his unbelievable attention to detail and search for perfection on every level. He does everything right including the custom made flight cases for EVERY pair of Speakers and the calibration and matching of every single pair of speakers. The finish takes 45 day !!

The top plate on the Engstrom Eric can be swapped so I nicked the one from a white one just to see what it looked like. Personally I prefer the white versions.

what a difference a year makes. Having fun at the Introduction of the Noblesse at Axpona. Now not so much !

Hi Howie, just sent you an excellent review for the K70 Mk1 that may be of interest to you. Happy listening and please keep us posted on your impressions of the K70...assuming you have the latest MK2 version?

You know I have no idea. I just borrowed it from a 2nd hand dealer. It's pretty beat up but it sounds magnificent.

Thanks for the review.

Those speakers are too close to the walls. The bass must be overwhelming.
It would appear to me...and maybe just to me... that the speakers are just too big for that room. The setup looks great though. Wouldn't it be great if the recording studios and halls had equipment like that to make the recordings that you all love so much.

Yes it would nicer to have a bigger room. I haven’t moved them since they came. Just letting them settle in. I will say this though. There is no excessive bass and I am not one who craves a lot of bass to begin with. There is no treatment in the room either, just books a 13 foot ceiling and a room which stretches about 40 feet. I’m sure someone can help me position them later on.;)
