I agree with the above. There are some outstanding Richter and Nikolayeva recordings, not to speak of Gutman, Pikaysen, Oistrakh and the young Kremer and Rostropovich of course. Quality varies. The Leningrad under Mravinsky is simply stunning musically I find.
