Hi, fellows! You've probably heard about KBL Sound on this forum and elsewhere, but here probably mostly about the XDMI link that we designed at the request of Lukasz Fikus from LampizatOr. This cable is dedicated to exclusive connections between the Taiko server and the Horizon360 or Poseidon DAC. You can find many positive opinions about its effect on the sound. However, it is quite an exclusive cable, also due to its use in a specific application. We believe that our other cables are also worth trying. While there are many reviews available online, most of our customers are not people who participate in forums. Now it may change, because we are here on WBF.
All owners of KBL Sound products or those who have had experience with them and would like to share their impressions, welcome!

welcome to WBF Robert. I was the very first to not only use your XDMI cable connecting my Taiko Olympus to my LampizatOr Horizon 360 but I first used your entry level XDMI which performed miracles and then I learned from Lukasz that you also made an XDMI cable in your top of the line cable series. I bought it immediately and the rest is history. I truly loved your entry level XDMI cable yet having said this your top of the line cable was in a different league. There was so much more detail. Everything was better including deep bass, slam and dynamics. Timbre was perfect and the build to the cable was excellent. As a result I no longer have any need for USB from my Olympus to my Horizon 360 . Your XDMI at 1/4 the price simply outperformed my Masterbuilt Ultra USB cable which was the best USB cable I have ever owned.

Wishing you lots of success Robert. I know that you are a huge hit with LampizatOr users but I would encourage everyone to reach out to Robert. You won't be disappointed

Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad I could contribute to the improvement in your system. Indeed, the EXtrema series cables are absolutely uncompromising in their construction and materials, just extreme. This is the peak of our dozen or so years of experience and our refusal to compromise on our approach.

Hello, Robert. Please allow me to offer you and KBL Sound a very warm welcome to the What's Best Forum!

I have some experience with KBL Sound cables so I feel I can recommend and at the same time warn you, KBL Sound Extrema line is extremally good and if you will try it, it will be highly difficult to unhear it. Friend of mine came with RCA Extrema cables and I was shocked with the progress done since I bought few years ago KBL Himalaya Pro Ag ( first version ), which was top of the line that time. I've tried also Extrema power cord and also it was perfect match with my DAC. I checked it ( Extrema PC ) also with my integrated Vitus SIA 25 amp and if I can afford it, it will be my next move. Extrema line voicing is so natural, soundstage is not as spectacular as with other cables, but is just right. You can think bass is little too exposed, but when you listened longer, you realize it's so resolved and I will call it matured :)
