My father in the listening chair. It's not really nearfield, but it’s close at 1.6 m and the triangle is wide, 120 degrees or so. The only acoustical treatment is the ceiling above the listening triangle. That enormous rococco chair behind the right speaker is normally not placed there.

Did some phase measurements:

Could this be flattened by using the FIR filters on the Flex Eight input? Worth a try:

A lot flatter. Should add that FIR with 2028 taps and FS 96 kHz doesn’t work well below 100 Hz, Changing phase also changes frequency response. No go. 77DCB8C6-C069-43A8-A230-2818CE0FBC7C.png Before and after system impulse response measured in the listening position.
How it sounds? It’s easier to understand spatial cues. The soundstage seems clearer. Someone has given the listening window a cleanup.

On a side note my turntable turned (ha!) fifty on 17th April. Here’s a celebratory picture:
