Hi fellow addicts, I'm curious about the Lampizator GG2 or Pacific as well as Totaldac D1-Direct as my next dac, however I can't seem to find out where it's possible to audition them, particularly in Texas. Does anyone know?

If you don't come up with any other options I should have my GG2 in another 4-5 weeks, in Houston. You'd be welcome to have a listen.

Where in Texas do you live? It is a pretty big state. I live in the Dallas area and have a Pacific and a MSB for comparison.

not to be argumentative, but how would you know what a dac sounds like in a foreign system? unless someone had both in the same one.

Agreed. That is why i mentioned yhat we can compare head to head against an msb. While nit Total DAC it is a ladder dac. Might be an ear opening experience for the OP

Really grateful for the responses and generous offers, I would definitely would be interested in taking them up. I think KeithR has a good point on having a point of reference, I'd be up for bringing my own dacs for comparison if the it isn't extra trouble for the hosts.
