I had the Aqua at home for evaluation but I'm not 100% convinced... yet. Missed a bit in terms of soundstage.Will do some more searching.
Maybe I should also clarify that not everything I show pictures of has been in my possessions. Some are evaluation objects but also pictures from listening sessions with friends with the same interest in hi-fi.
If you have used the balanced outputs then the output transformers come into play. I thought what came out of it was very good i can live with that

I have listened to three DACs at the time, the Rockna, Aqua and Metronome, the latter simply sounds like more music not like hifi.

That’s reminding me of my Olympus pre when it has tiny red bulbs inside the main chassis and projecting nicely on the ceiling when all the lights turned off

To my friends in the United States, Happy Thanksgiving;
To my friends in other counties, it's easy for us to always focus on the negative in our lives or what we "want" and are "don't have", but let us take today to be thankful for the many blessings we DO have.
In the United States today is the unofficial beginning of the Christmas season and wanting to look for great sales to buy things.
* * * Let us not forget about the meaning of being humble, thankful, kind to others and helping others in the spirit of the holidays. And if you are religious don't forget the TRUE meaning of Christmas. * * *
Picture: my favorite Dry Mastiha from Greece that is NOT possible to get in the USA. So I'm only able to get 1 bottle a year.
