nice gear with triode- mosfet output stage sounded superb 30 years ago in the stax dac. Nothing will have changed with the Aqua dac. congratulations

I had the Aqua at home for evaluation but I'm not 100% convinced... yet. Missed a bit in terms of soundstage.Will do some more searching.

Maybe I should also clarify that not everything I show pictures of has been in my possessions. Some are evaluation objects but also pictures from listening sessions with friends with the same interest in hi-fi.

If you have used the balanced outputs then the output transformers come into play. I thought what came out of it was very good i can live with that

I have listened to three DACs at the time, the Rockna, Aqua and Metronome, the latter simply sounds like more music not like hifi.

Turned the SET 845 back on. Nice mids. Highs a little recessed. Some hum. Don't hear the hum playing Miles D in high rez.

My pix won't load. Says something like loss less and looks like it loaded, but its not there when I Save
