I love your vintage Thorens. My first great table, and still damn good today. I love that customer base as well.
Looks GREAT!Latest iteration of the room...still a WIP. Upgraded the Carbide Audio Base footers to the Sapphire version. Ceiling clouds are next. Although the room is 17' x 21', the ceiling height is only 7'10" as it's a basement room. Ceiling treatment is likely to make some positive difference.

A lot. Music definitely sounds more layered to me. Bass notes also seem less "rounded". Even more so with the Sapphaire version.Owwwwwwwwww.....how do you like them???
Nice setup, could you tell me what the black panels to the left and right of the speakers are and where you got them? Thanks.Latest iteration of the room...still a WIP. Thanks. Those are modular, room screen/divider made from 12mm thick felt panels. I bought a 69" high in marble/gray to use as a "wall screen" to block one side of my listening room (to the right of the listening position) as the room opens to a corridor. The vendor sent me an incorrect color, the black ones you see in the pic, and I just split them into two sections to use as additional room damping/treatment. hahaNice setup, could you tell me what the black panels to the left and right of the speakers are and where you got them? Thanks.
